Embroidered Tea Towel Korea Post-War Cottage Industry Program & India Souvenir Duo of vintage handcrafted items. Hand embroidered tea towel produced by the Cottage Industry Program in Korea (interesting history of this craft - research Operation Hanky or Father Aloysius Schwartz - a post-war effort geared to raising funds for the poor in Korea). Tea towel with creases from years of being folded, embroidery intact, one image is a girl pushing another on a swing, the other image is a couple, blue sort of Greek key border. The small straw or grass item appears to be a souvenir from India, appears in original plastic wrap. A couple of items gathered along the way that are ready to be moved on.
