Oboe Reeds (Cantabile) Rigotti: 3 pcs (M) & EH Reeds: 2 pcs (M)

The Cantabile finished oboe reed is completely handmade.
To accommodate your preferences as much as possible, such as weight and personal taste,
we create each reed from raw material after receiving your order.
Therefore, it may take up to 3 weeks for shipping (though it may be faster).

*Please confirm the following before placing your order in the comment section. We will create a dedicated page for you.

☆ To encourage you to enjoy your oboe even during these times, we offered it at a special price of 1500 yen. However, due to rising material costs, we have increased the price by 200 yen starting from October 15, 2022.

This reed offers resistance and produces a dark, German oboe sound.
If you struggle with playing high notes clearly and find your pitch becoming too high, please give this a try.

* If you would like to adjust the weight, please send us a message, and we will accommodate your request.
We can also make it slightly heavier for those who prefer to make minor adjustments themselves.

Additionally, to ensure the reed lasts longer and stays clean (as it is made to prevent air leaks), we do not use tape.
Tube: Rigotti 46-47mm
Total Length: 70.5-71.8mm

Each reed has a slightly different playing feel and tone, so purchasing a set of 2-3 reeds can be enjoyable. However, you are also welcome to try one first and then order more if you like it!

* As this is a trial product, we have used recycled tubes to keep the price down. (This is why it is listed as near unused, but the reed itself is, of course, unused.)

The reed will be disinfected before shipping.

I am a professional oboist who has also been active as a reed maker for many years.
