Rare Vintage 1960 Hallmark Diploma Days Graduation Centerpiece Kit Unused NOS

An exceptionally rare, unassembled New Old Stock papercraft kit designed to create a 12.5-inch wide graduation cap and diploma centerpiece. This set represents the mid-century boom in social expression and the elevated importance of graduation ceremonies in post-war America.  The kit features high-quality die-cut cardstock and a Heres An Idea instructional insert that showcases the eras charming, hand-drawn graphic design. The inclusion of a real textile gold tassel and a pre-cut red ribbon demonstrates Hallmarks commitment to quality even in disposable paper goods. The paper engineering relies on a sophisticated tab-and-slot system, a hallmark of mid-century DIY home decor that required no glue.  The kit appears remarkably complete and unused. There is quite a bit of age-related foxing and yellowing on the instruction sheet and envelope. The envelope is opened but the pieces have never been assembled.
