The Two Grey Hills tapestry is one of the most refined and recognizable styles of Navajo (Diné) weaving, originating from the Two Grey Hills area in the American Southwest. Two Grey Hills tapestries are prestigious, finely woven Navajo textiles from northwestern New Mexico, renowned for using natural, undyed wool in shades of grey, brown, white, and black. Known as the Cadillac of Navajo weaving, these, often, highly detailed pieces feature intricate geometric patterns, typically with a central diamond motif, and sometimes exceed 100 weft threads per inch.
