Otafukuwata Cotton Wool Herringbone Samue

This premium samue is created from yarn through a collaboration between Otafukuwata, a company founded in the Tenpo era specializing in handmade cotton futons, and Nisshinbo, a spinning company.

Feature ①
Focusing on the best qualities of cotton and wool, we developed wool core cotton yarn by wrapping cotton yarn around wool yarn. This minimizes itchiness compared to conventional wool-cotton blends.

Feature ②
Thanks to the wool core cotton yarn, the samue possesses the excellent heat-absorbing and heat-generating properties of wool, making it very warm, while the cotton provides a gentle feel against the skin.

Feature ③
The new material yarn, which maximizes the potential of cotton and wool, is woven in a durable herringbone pattern. This weave provides a lustrous and luxurious appearance, as well as excellent durability.
