Description

A must-have shovel for snowy mountains and backcountry.
This lightweight, compact type can be stored in small backpacks.

G3 Spade Tech Shovel

The Speed Tech Shovel is lightweight and has a shape close to a spade, making it suitable for digging out packed snow in early spring or hard debris.

Other shovels may be difficult to pack due to their blade shape, or may damage backpacks with their sharp edges. However, the Spade Tech Shovel has a nearly flat, rounded blade shape that is easy to pack and less likely to damage backpacks.

The nearly flat blade shape allows force to be easily transferred to the snow, and it has a shape that is easy to step on, which is not commonly found in other shovels. This nearly flat shape makes it easy to dig and scrape snow for pit checks.

The T-grip can be changed to face right or left when inserted.
