Final Price Drop Tenor Bass Trombone B&S Challenger 3085B-GB

A masterpiece from Germany, the B&S Challenger 3085B-GB tenor bass trombone.

This instrument, cherished for its warm and centered tone, boasts the soft, deep sound characteristic of a gold brass bell, along with a rich, full tone. It offers an excellent balance of playability, making it perfect for those looking to step up to a professional model for the first time or for students graduating and seeking a higher-grade instrument.

The condition is excellent for a used item. It has seen limited use overall, the slide is smooth, and you can enjoy playing it immediately and comfortably. There is one small dent, like a dimple, but it does not affect the sound or playability and is barely noticeable visually. Other than that, there are only minor scuffs, and the overall condition is very clean.

This instrument was passed down from a friend and is estimated to be around 20 years old since its manufacture. My friend used it for a short period in a wind ensemble, and I have only played it occasionally since then, so its condition is remarkably good for its age.

The original backpack-style case is included.

I would be happy to pass this instrument, which I have cherished, on to someone who will use it with the same affection. As this is a used item, please understand that returns and exchanges are not accepted (NCNR).
