This is an I-shaped grip pole that can also be used as a monopod by removing the cap at the top of the grip and attaching it to the camera's tripod hole.

I purchased this a long time ago at mont-bell and used it as a monopod when bringing my camera on mountain climbs. However, my stamina decreased, and the camera became too heavy, so I stopped using it and it has been stored at home since then.
This is an older model of the poles currently sold by mont-bell.
