This is a KENKO 49mm SKYLIGHT 1B lens filter, made in Japan.
It can be attached as a front protection filter (protect filter) for your lens.
It appears to be a very old product, but it is still usable without any issues.
For practical performance, multi-coated protectors are superior, so this is recommended for situations where you want to achieve a so-called retro look.
The condition is not particularly bad, but there are some unremovable stains near the edge.
These are unlikely to affect the captured images, but we are mentioning them just in case.
