SCHILKE Symphony D150 Darren Barrett Excellent Condition
84.48 $
Description
The Silky Symphony Series D150.
Silver-plated.
The rim size is approximately 1-1/4C on the backbore with a deep cup.
As expected from a mouthpiece for the Symphony series, it produces a very deep and beautiful sound.
The clear and refined sound character, typical of Silky, is very pleasant. Especially in the lower register, depending on how you play, you can achieve a very airy and warm tone, which is wonderful.
It is suitable for classical and wind ensemble music, as well as for jazz solos.
Darren Barrett, a renowned jazz trumpeter and professor at Berklee College of Music, highly praises it on his YouTube channel, All Things Brass And Technology, where you can listen to a demo performance.
Darren Barrett's demo performance showcases a vocal-like tone with a whisper voice, demonstrating its suitability for jazz solos.
It offers a different kind of transparency and smooth, attractive tone compared to Monette or Lotus.
Please try it out.
The condition is relatively good, but please refer to the photos. If you have any questions, please confirm and understand them via message before purchasing.
