A close-up lens is an easy-to-use macro accessory that you can attach to the front of your existing lens. It allows you to get closer to your subject than the minimum focusing distance of your lens (the shortest distance at which you can focus on a subject) and take larger photos.
By using a close-up lens, you can achieve new photographic expressions, such as filling the frame with a part of a flower or capturing details invisible to the naked eye. It is ideal for close-up shots of flowers and small objects.
