【Excellent Condition / Expert Appraised】Nikkan Flute FL-23, Pads in Great Shape!

Thank you for looking.
This is the FL-23 model.
A renowned instrument from the Nikkan era, which supported Japan's wind instrument manufacturing history. It is highly regarded by enthusiasts for its softer tone compared to current beginner models.
The engraving is still in excellent condition, showing it was carefully stored.

This cherished instrument was passed down from a family member. However, as no one in the family can play, I am offering it to someone who will make good use of it.

This flute is from the prestigious Nikkan (Nippon Gakki) of the Showa era.
It's a rare vintage model from before Nikkan was absorbed by Yamaha, and it has been stored in surprisingly excellent condition.

■ Expert Appraised
Before listing, I had it inspected at two professional wind instrument shops in April: Baldon and Muramatsu Flute.

They commented:
The condition is so good, it's hard to believe it's been dormant for so long.
The pads show minimal deterioration and do not require replacement.
It appears to have been played very little (showing minimal signs of use).

■ Product Condition
Exterior: There are minor scuffs and dullness due to age, but no significant dents or rust are visible.

The lip plate (mouthpiece) is also very clean, in a hygienic condition. A cleaning rod is included.

Pads: As shown in the images, the pads are in good condition with no tears or severe discoloration.

Adjustment: The specialist shop stated, It is fully playable with just an adjustment. It will be sold as-is. We recommend that the buyer have it balanced to their preference at their usual repair shop.
