Art Deco Royal Rochester Bird of Paradise Creamer and Sugar Set, Platinum Trim

This is a vintage Art Deco creamer and sugar bowl set produced by Fraunfelter China for Royal Rochester, featuring the distinctive Bird of Paradise pattern. The set is known by two names: Bird of Paradise and Golden Pheasant. It features a hand-painted exotic bird motif on a branch with floral accents. The pieces are from the Art Deco era, likely dating to the 1920s or 1930s. It is made of Royalite glazed china, which has a glossy, iridescent, or pearlescent finish. The rims, edges, and handles are trimmed in platinum. The set includes a covered sugar bowl and a matching creamer (or pitcher). Both pieces have a charming footed base, a classic shape for the period, and small, looped handles. They are in amazing condition, rarely used with no chips or cracks or fading. The creamer is 4 tall by 4.5 wide and the sugar bowl is 5 tall by 6 wide.
