2 Vintage 1970s bathrobes, Set of 2, Handmade, girls size 4-6. Blue and red

Before fleece and polyester took over, little girls wore quilted cotton housecoats to bed and on weekend mornings — soft, warm, button-front robes that felt like being wrapped in a quilt. These two are exactly that. Both share the same classic silhouette: long sleeves, A-line body, button front, eyelet lace collar, diamond-quilted for warmth. Real garments built for real winters. Both handmade. Housecoat 1 — Blue Patchwork: Trompe l'oeil patchwork print (a single fabric printed to look like pieced quilt squares) in navy, cornflower, slate, sage, cream. Wide scalloped eyelet collar. Five navy buttons, all present. No pockets. 17 chest flat, 27 length. Housecoat 2 — Red Daisy Floral: Quilted cranberry cotton with tiny scattered daisies. Peter Pan eyelet collar. Two patch pockets. Only one button remains at closure (see photos). 17 chest flat, 26 length. Size: Approx. 4-6, runs generous (meant over pajamas) Condition: Good vintage condition, clean, no tears or stains, minor age softening. Red robe missing buttons as noted. Sold as-is, bundle only.
