This is a titanium chinrest hardware for violins. It fits most products, and the size was perfect for my violin, being very light.
I use a handkerchief with my chinrest, but with brass or iron, which are commonly used, rust and verdigris quickly form from sweat containing salt from my neck.
With this product, rust is virtually non-existent, and it has strong rigidity without the heaviness characteristic of metal, making it the best material for chinrest parts in my opinion.
