Portable Gas Heater

Although the brand is listed as RTNN, this is a Chinese-made portable gas heater. The purchase reviews gave it 2.5 stars, but the heat output is strong. Personally, I'd give it 4 stars. I used it in my car for about 40 minutes to make two cups of coffee. The metal fitting on the top has discolored due to the heat, but it was only used for about 40 minutes. There are no issues with its use.

The dent in the mesh part in images 5 and 6 occurred after about 40 minutes of use on high heat.

It seems that this type of gas heater will dent and discolor when used on high heat.

One cassette gas canister should last about 60 to 90 minutes.

Includes: Box, instruction manual (English), mesh cover, and canister attachment fitting (not used).

To attach the cassette canister, use the lock below the lever shown in image 9. To change the heat setting on the front top of the heater, press the protrusion shown in image 10 while changing the setting.

When igniting, pull the fitting on the left side while turning (image 11, right round fitting).

There is paint peeling on the part where the heater's direction can be switched due to rubbing. It will peel even if you are careful (image 11, right).

Images 12, 13, 14: This appears to be a fitting for attaching a propane gas hose.

Consider this for power outages, disasters, supplemental heating, or for use while sleeping in your car (be mindful of ventilation).

We keep our kerosene fan heater out until the end of the rainy season.
