Genuine Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS M

The Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS M is an accessory that allows you to attach EF lenses to EOS M cameras.

[What are EF lenses?]
These are lenses designed for Canon's DSLR (non-mirrorless) cameras.

[What are EOS M cameras?]
These are Canon's entry-level mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras (with APS-C size sensors, not full-frame).
They are not part of the EOS R series (full-frame).

I am providing detailed information because I mistakenly purchased this item. Please be careful not to make the same mistake. Camera equipment can be tricky.

This is recommended for those who have bought a mirrorless camera body but want to continue using their old lenses from their non-mirrorless cameras, or for those who find mirrorless lenses scarce and expensive on the used market and want to use more affordable EF lenses.
