As it was acquired used, there is no warranty or certificate of authenticity. The bow has been repaired for warping and the leather grip has been replaced for this listing. [Subjective Impression of Sound]
The stick is made of slender, dense, and strong Pernambuco wood. It is a classic heavy octagonal bow, often referred to as a strong bow. It has the typical feel and playability of a German bow. It allows for easy application of arm weight, and the bow enters the string sharply and straight from the tip. It is capable of producing a powerful sound even on instruments that are difficult to project or on lower strings. Regarding the hair condition, rehairing would be advisable before a performance, but it is still usable for practice and trying out.
