Vintage Chinese Carved Carnelian Sterling Silver Filigree Art Deco Bead Necklace

Beautiful vintage Chinese-style carved carnelian agate necklace featuring dozens of individually carved graduated beads and an impressive large carved and pierced floral centerpiece set in an ornate sterling silver filigree frame.  The necklace is composed of richly colored translucent carnelian beads ranging from warm peach and orange to deeper reddish-orange tones which are individually carved.  The sterling oval centerpiece features an intricately carved openwork floral and foliage motif in a beautiful  filligree sterling silver setting decorated with applied flowers, leaves, and scrolling wirework. Appears to have a warm gold wash finish. The clasp is clearly marked STERLING.  The overall design has a beautiful Chinese-style / Asian-inspired aesthetic. Exact maker, origin, and age are unknown.
