These mid-century religious statues were famously produced by Hartland Plastics (often designated as Molded #228) in Wisconsin, USA. Similar variations were also mass-produced in Hong Kong during the 1960s and 1970s. It is made of hard molded plastic (sometimes referred to as vintage celluloid, bakelite, or blow-mold plastic depending on the specific manufacturing run). This vintage statue is in vintage condition for its age. Its approximately 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches across. used as keepsake gifts, commemorative bedroom statues, or cake toppers for a child's First Communion celebration.
