Description
Add a touch of Mid-Century British elegance to your vanity or purse with this stunning vintage Stratton Queen Convertible powder compact. Made in Birmingham, England during the late 1950s or 1960s, this gorgeous piece features an eye-catching, glossy forest green enamel lid. At the center is a beautifully detailed floral bouquet cradled in a golden basket, all framed by an intricate gold-tone geometric and scalloped border. As a Convertible model, it is designed to hold both modern pan pressed powder or loose powder. The base features Stratton's signature engine-turned star pattern with the classic hand-engraved style script logo. In excellent vintage condition: - The enamel on the lid is bright and glossy with virtually no scratches or loss of color. - The gold-tone brass body is highly polished with only very light, age-appropriate wear. - The inner mirror is exceptionally clear and intact. - The hinge and clover latch snap shut securely. - Includes its original pink Stratton-branded puff and inner metal sifter ring. MEASUREMENTS - Diameter: 3.25 inches (8.25 cm) - Weight: 3.75 oz (106 grams)
