Used Perpetual Double Bass Strings 4-piece set (G.D.A.E)

Used Double Bass String Set
PIRASTRO PERPETUAL
Recommended for those who may not be able to change strings often, such as for school club activities.

Here are the details and condition of the strings being sold, along with some information that may be helpful.

[String Details]
Purchased approximately 3 years ago, used for 1 year, and then stored as spare strings for 2 years. Used in orchestra, wind ensemble, and mandolin ensemble. Rosin used was POPS.
The bag is in poor condition (can be excluded if not needed). The metal parts of the strings have been cleaned with acetone (organic solvent).

I am currently using the same type of strings, which are 2 years old, and they function without issue for regular playing. Therefore, these strings should be usable for about another year of regular playing (though they may last even longer).
Original price was around ¥33,000.
Current price is around ¥48,000.
(Prices may vary depending on the seller.)

[Characteristics When New (for reference)]
When new, I felt a slightly metallic sound with the bow, and a distinctly metallic sound with pizzicato. The orchestra conductor reported no issues. The volume was quite high.

[After Continued Use (Current Tone)]
The metallic impression gradually faded, making them more suitable for classical, baroque, and chamber music. The volume decreased slightly (though still considerable, I believe). I think they are versatile for wind ensemble, orchestra, mandolin ensemble, and string ensemble.

[Other Information]
・Recommended for small ensembles wanting to produce a loud sound.
・As a replacement for the discontinued Chromecore.
These strings were recommended to me when I mentioned the above. As they are relatively new, some people may not be familiar with them.
