This is a Pelican pattern hekko obi from the 2026 collection.

This unique obi features a charming pelican pattern relaxing by the water.
It would be a perfect statement piece for a yukata in the summer, creating a distinctive and cool look.
Previous customers have praised it, saying, The pelicans have an artistic style that complements kimonos. (^^)

The fabric is thin and slightly soft.
It creates a fluffy finish with knots that hold their shape well, such as the Ginza knot.
For voluminous knots with many pleats, the pleats will stand out beautifully.
The thin fabric makes it comfortable to wear even in midsummer.

I had originally planned to release this closer to summer,
but many customers said, I'll start looking for a kimono to match the obi now! after purchasing,
so I decided to release it early.
I'm one of those people myself.
