Vintage handmade Tulip Basket quilt showcases a timeless traditional pattern with vibrant green sashing framing colorful tulip basket blocks. The baskets are pieced from an assortment of cheerful floral, pastel, and novelty cotton prints, many of which appear to be vintage feed sack fabrics, giving the quilt wonderful charm and character.  Hand pieced and hand quilted, this generously sized quilt measures approximately 88 x 72 and features lovely quilting throughout with rounded corners finished in pink binding. Its fresh color palette of emerald green, soft pink, aqua, white, yellow, red, and floral prints makes it a beautiful choice for a guest bed, farmhouse décor, wall display, or vintage quilt collection.  Details:  At 88 x 72, this quilt is considered a Full/Double size, but it also works well on a Queen bed with a more vintage-style drape.  Very good vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear consistent with a well-cared-for handmade quilt. It does have a few minor dark spots on the back of the quilt (see last photos).
