Regarding the Hans Grimm bow, honestly, I don't know much about it myself. First, the inscription is small, so I've included a magnified photo. Regarding the construction, the wrapping is made of silver (I've removed most of the tarnish).
The thumb grip has been replaced and looks good. I've also polished the screw nicely.
The frog has a very beautiful Parisian eye decoration.
The hair was likely replaced by the previous owner, so it can still be used, but the timing of replacement is unknown. Please judge from the photos.
