The playing feel of this bow somehow reminds me of slacklining.
I've never actually tried it, but this is what I felt just by looking at it.
The way the rope bends, whipping and swaying like a whip, yet just managing to catch the weight of the feet trying to pass through it.
I believe this way of catching the weight perfectly represents the essence of the exquisite contact with the bowstring.
If the rope were too stiff or too soft, your feet would be thrown off or you'd fall off the rope.
The rope stretches and bends, but at the precise moment your feet want to stop, it shows its resilience, momentarily solidifying to allow the player to pause in mid-air for an instant.

This incredibly thin bow, much like a whip, bends and sways with a whipping motion. Upon contact with the strings, it possesses a remarkable touch of minimal necessary stiffness, producing a round and resonant sound.
Even with slightly rough handling, rather than diminishing the instrument's resonance, it tends to lead towards a forgiving quality that embraces expressive nuance, or sweetness. (This is akin to the opposite of rigid playing that produces boring music. Perhaps the term fluctuation is close to what I'm trying to express... the idea that the slight imperfections that arise when a human, rather than a machine, plays can actually make music more captivating.)
It has a magnanimity that connects to this idea.

Its appearance is very much in the style of the Knopf family, who were active primarily in the late 19th century. I suspect there is likely a connection, even if it's not directly related.
If you find that the bow is not to your liking after an appraisal, or if its handling feels different from the description, please do not hesitate to return it.

Rehaired last month (Canadian horsehair).
Silver tip.
No cracks or bends, the camber is exquisitely maintained, and the balance is ideal.

This bow is not recommended for those seeking a powerful, rigid bow. However, for those looking for a bow with the characteristic resilience of an old instrument, one that possesses a soft yet centered tone, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
