Paper file, felt mat, brush roll, calligraphy, Japanese calligraphy set

The writing mat is in beautiful condition.
The washi paper file has minor scratches and scuffs that are difficult to see in the photos.
The brush roll has a lot of ink on it and is also damaged. Please consider it as a bonus.

This is a fudemaki (brush roll) used for safely transporting calligraphy brushes. It is made by weaving together thin bamboo sticks. By rolling used brushes in this, it protects the tips, allows moisture to escape, and prevents the bristles and handles from rotting. Arrange the brushes on the brush roll, roll them up from one end, and secure them with the attached string.
The washi paper file is made of a smooth material, and ink stains can be easily wiped off with a cloth.
