French-made Violin Bow ☆ BAZIN SCHOOL ♬ Peccatte Style
Thank you for viewing.
According to the certificate of authenticity, this excellent French violin bow is believed to have been made in the workshop of Charles Louis Bazin (1881-1953), possibly by Charles Louis Bazin himself.
It is a later work, made after 1930, and shows the utmost respect for the tradition of the famous Mirecourt family of luthiers.
This fine bow by Louis Bazin is strong for the active player, fits well in the hand, is very responsive, and is ideal for active playing with its bright, clear, brilliant, and powerful sound.
It is a strong, rigid bow with a solid tone, characteristic of the BAZIN lineage.
The sturdy round stick made of orange-brown Pernambuco offers excellent strength and elasticity. The distinctive head is patterned after the Peccatte model.
The ebony frog with nickel-silver fittings is decorated with a long mother-of-pearl slide.
Measuring 74.4 cm in length, this Louis Bazin violin bow has a central balance point.
It has been rehaired and is ready to play.
A certificate of authenticity from the BAZIN School is also included.
Please consider it.
