Used Viola, Made in Czechoslovakia
I purchased this instrument about 35 years ago at a string instrument specialty store in Ikebukuro, but it has been stored away with very little playing. This is because I developed a rosin allergy, causing my fingers to swell and itch.
Recently, a professional examined it and said it is still in playable condition. There is a label inside the f-holes that reads Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis...1713 Made in Czechoslovakia. It appears not to be a genuine Stradivarius.
Three years ago, I spent 30,000 yen to replace the strings and the bow hair, but the bow hair is frayed in places.
I would like someone who will cherish and play it to purchase it. While it may not be a particularly valuable instrument, it holds sentimental value for me, so I am very sorry to those who are considering reselling it, but I cannot sell it to you.
The rosin is old, but I am including Clarity rosin, which is suitable for those with rosin allergies. Since I replaced the strings two years ago, I have only used Clarity and no other rosin.
It comes with a key, a tuning fork, a shoulder rest, and a hard case.
I will also include two instructional books.
Thank you very much for your interest.
No smoking odor, no fabric softener or perfume used, no pets.
Thank you so much for all the likes. I have lowered the price slightly.
