[Condition and History]
There are fine scratches, dents, and varnish peeling on the varnish. In November 2025, the bridge was adjusted, leather was attached to the A string part of the bridge, and the entire instrument was cleaned. There are no cracks, breaks, neck detachments, or joint separations, and the instrument is in healthy playing condition. No warranty or other documents are included.
The soundpost is standing. It is ready to play immediately after tuning.
The strings are old and are tensioned to prevent the soundpost from falling, so it would be best to replace them before playing. The bow is a Suzuki, and the case is a bonus item that has been sun-faded. I acquired this used online and performed maintenance and overall cleaning to make it playable.
I acquired this along with a Franz Kirschnek cello from the same year, which was also of high quality, but I am selling it because I use it less frequently (played once on Christmas 2025).
