Vintage USA Flag / Jet Plane Tie Clips, Estate Jewelry, Lot of 2 Pieces

Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or an all-around Amrtican patriot, this set of two goldtone tie clips would make a nice addition to your tie clasp collection. The Jet Airplane Clip features a classic mid-century swept-wing jet design mounted on a textured, gold-tone backing with an alligator style clip. Pieces like this were popular retail accessories for aviation enthusiasts, pilots, or travelers. The American Flag Clip features a classic enamel-inlaid US flag motif. Patriotism items saw a massive surge in production and popularity during the 1970s and 1980s and would be apropos in today's climate. It, too, has an alligator clip on the back.  The jet clip measures approx 1.625 in length and has no maker's mark. The front plate has an etched cross-hatch goldtone finish. The American flag clip measures approx 2 and also has no maker's mark. The front plate on it is polished goldtone finish. They both are in good mechanical and vintage condition.   Bundle these with other items from my closet to save on shipping.   These are estate items.
