The biggest difference between the long trails of Europe and America, which have spawned much outdoor culture, and the Japanese mountain climbing scene is terrain.
The Japanese mountain climbing scene is characterized by mountainous areas where updrafts are likely to form. Furthermore, there are many scenes that go beyond the treeline with few obstructions, leading to frequent encounters with strong winds.

The arata trekking umbrella AU-08/WHITE was born from the idea that the optimal solution for gear should differ depending on the environment.
