Ultra-Rare Ko-ei-do Select Item Fender USA Am Original 70s JB

This is a beautiful used Fender USA American Original 70s Jazz Bass, selected by Ko-ei Do. It's a rare NAT ash Jazz Bass, but I'm decluttering because I have too many instruments and equipment.

Fender USA has basically stopped using ash for its regular models for several years, and especially for regular bass models, ash body options have disappeared. If you want a Fender USA ash body bass, you'll have to look for vintage or Custom Shop models.
However, many 1970s vintage Jazz Basses have quality issues, and their prices are skyrocketing year by year (currently over 700,000 yen in the market). It's extremely difficult to find one with the popular natural finish, maple fingerboard, and white block inlays. Even if you're lucky enough to find one with these specifications in the Custom Shop, it will likely cost about the same as a vintage model.

Considering all this, I believe this is an excellent value, as the condition of the instrument is good, and it's a Ko-ei Do selected model (silver seal) with outstanding tone.

There are some minor dings and signs of use, but overall it's quite clean.
The pickguard has been lightly sanded to a matte finish because I didn't like the shiny look, and it also has playing scratches. If this bothers you, you can purchase a genuine Fender pickguard for about 6,000 yen and replace it.
To my amateur judgment, the neck appears straight, the truss rod turns without issue, and the frets still have plenty of life left. Please judge the details from the images.
The current strings are Elixir Stainless.

Included accessories are an unused bridge cover, an unused pickup fence, documents, etc. (all items shown in the images are included; guitar stand is not included). The hard case has been upgraded from the genuine one to a lighter and more robust Deluxe Molded case.
It will be carefully packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
