Description
Unique handmade quilt made of 100% cotton in pretty colors of blue, yellow, lavender, aqua, pink, green, white, and red. This color palette is from the 1930's. The fabric is Mama's Cottons/Hope Chest by Connecting Threads. During the Great Depression, manufacturers began printing feed sack bags with colorful, small-scale floral and geometric prints and these fabrics are just like those from that era! Pieced and quilted by me on my sewing machine. The back is 3 coordinating fabrics. Beautiful and functional way to decorate a home or college dorm room! Measures 54” x 60”, machine washable and dryable. Quilts have not been washed; I recommend washing your quilt in cool water with gentle detergent once you have received it.
