ARIA SWB-03 Electric Upright Bass (Customized)

This is an Aria Electric Upright Bass series SWB-03. I purchased it used two years ago. I've used it for live performances about 2-3 times a year, but I'm selling it now as I'm reorganizing my equipment.

While it's subjective, I found the unique tone close to an upright bass to be excellent, and the neck is thinner than a real upright bass, making it uniquely easy to play.
The bridge is set as low as possible, so please adjust it to your preference.
(Currently, the 1st and 2nd strings are wound in reverse to lower the tension. Please re-wind them if you don't like this setting.)

Uses a 9V battery (battery not included).

Comes with a dedicated 2-way soft case.

It was played in July without any issues.

There are likely some minor scratches on the body.

The rubber tips on the bridge saddles have deteriorated, so I replaced them with different ones two years ago, but these have also started to deteriorate.

I don't recall any crackling in the controls, but there was a slight noise when using complex settings due to wiring. However, it was not enough to interfere with live performance.

[Customizations]
All done DIY:
- The joint between the body and the arm, which seems to be a weak point of the SWB series, has been reinforced with metal fittings and screws on both the top and bottom. Originally, the arm was held by just one screw at the top and bottom like a large anchor, but it started to wobble, so I reinforced it sturdily.

- To stabilize the hold between my body and the arm during performance, I've added a second, custom-made arm as shown in the images. I believe it's a bit more stable than without it. It's a bit rough due to trial and error, but it can be easily removed with a screwdriver or similar tool if you don't like it. It will be shipped in this condition, so please check it.
