This item has been stored at home. A plain Tsumugi silk kimono. Features an embroidered Asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern. The fabric is light and thin, similar to Oshima Tsumugi. The specific type of Tsumugi silk is unknown. It's a very cute, subdued, pale salmon pink color. Despite signs of wear (creases), the basting stitches remain on the left sleeve only. No noticeable stains or damage are apparent, but please forgive any oversights. There is what appears to be Shatou embroidery on the front hem and the back of the right sleeve. The embroidered areas are sheer. The color in the first photo is the closest representation. Yellowing on the collar lining. Has creases from wear. Sleeve length: 53cm Sleeve width: 33cm I believe it can be worn in the upcoming season. Since it's Tsumugi silk, it could also be repurposed into a skirt or dress. Thank you for looking.
