Description
Universal Audio LA-610 MKII Channel Strip
Purchased from Rock oN Line eStore around December 2024.
Used a few times for recording, totaling approximately 10 hours.
The sound is incredibly rich and dense, and the compressor is exceptionally smooth, which I loved. However, I'm selling it as I don't have many opportunities to use it.
All accessories, including cushioning material, are included. There is no crackling, noise, or any other malfunctions; it is in perfect working condition.
Accessories:
Main unit
Power cable
Original box (with cushioning material)
List price: ¥319,000
The Legendary 610 Preamp
The LA-610 MkII is based on the legendary console module developed by Bill Putnam in the 1960s.
This preamp was used in recordings by numerous artists, including Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, Van Halen, and for the album Pet Sounds. The LA-610 MkII imparts a silky, vintage warmth to sources, just like the original console's mic amp design.
The LA-610 Mk II's T4 tube compressor provides the same warm limiting sound as the king of opto-compressors, the Teletronix LA-2A.
The electro-optical detector, or T4 cell, is the heart and soul of the Teletronix LA-2A. It gives the compressor its unique warmth and is ideal for tracking vocals, bass, acoustic guitar, and more.
