Manufactured for only a few years in the 70s, this is a Made in Japan model that boasts Japanese vintage quality, utilizing abundant Japanese manufacturing technology. It features a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and nato wood body.
You can fully feel the unique characteristics of Yamaha from that era, which are rarely seen today, such as the ginkgo leaf-shaped tuners, the truss rod incorporated within the neck joint plate, and the pickup escutcheons.
In my personal opinion, the wood on the back of the body shines like tiger stripes, possessing an indescribable beauty (I'm not sure if nato wood having this pattern means it's of good quality, though haha).
Truss rod has room, frets remaining at 70%, and no issues with the assembly. Bridge cover is missing.
This is an as-is item, but it's rare to find a unit that has maintained such good condition even after nearly 50 years. Please consider it.
